Deborah is the Chief Deputy City Engineer for the Bureau of Engineering, and the highest-ranking architect for the City of Los Angeles. She provides leadership for an integrated architecture and engineering organization of approximately 1,000 people, with approximately 480 active projects totaling $3.6 billion. The projects she oversees include Homeless Facilities, LA River projects, cultural facilities, transportation facilities, recreational buildings, parks, general office facilities, City maintenance yards, and bridges. She is currently involved in two Public Private Partnership projects the City is pursuing, the Los Angeles Street Civic Building and the Los Angeles Convention Center Expansion.
