Kiewit Development Company

John McArthur is the chairman of Kiewit Development Company at Kiewit Corporation. As chairman of Kiewit Development Company, John is responsible for building the equity investment business for Kiewit and overseeing operations of the infrastructure group.

John started with Kiewit in 2011 as president of Kiewit Development Company. In this role, John oversaw the development, financing and asset management aspects of Public Private Partnership delivered infrastructure projects.

Prior to his employment with Kiewit, John served as the president and CEO, as well as the chief business officer, of Bilfinger Berger Project Investments. John’s experience and notoriety has earned him opportunities to address many conferences, universities and organizations. For example, in 2014, John spoke to the Associated General Contractors of California with a keynote address to review best practices of Public Private Partnerships throughout North America.

John holds a diploma in urban & regional planning from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario as well as an honours degree in landscape architecture as an urban design major at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario.

Kiewit is a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest and most respected construction and engineering organizations in North America. The company has revenues of $9 billion in 2017.
